Day 29 - Mental Health Awareness Month (Gratitude)

Good morning and welcome! It’s Wednesday, the 29th day of Mental Health Awareness Month. Let’s all take a moment to pause and express our gratitude for the short work week. Then, let’s practice gratitude with someone in our life.

 

Today, take time out to send a thank you note (or text, DM, sticky note, etc.). Let someone in your life know just how much you appreciate them. There is evidence that written expressions of gratitude have been linked to increased feelings of happiness. Perhaps we can say it is like the notion that it is better to give than to receive.


Doing something for someone else, letting them know just how they have touched your life in some way or another will not only  make their day, but it will bring a smile to your own face and joy to your heart. If you’re really feeling generous, write multiple notes and pass them out.


I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and that you brighten someone else’s day as well.
